I've got a loaded vanguard. It is the love of my life, I've told my girlfriend many times that I'd throw her in front of it if someone shot a bullet at it. Anyways, emotions aside, I believe my board would like some new wheels. I am into dancing, carving, commuting, and the occasional downhill. I currently have 75mm gumballs (the green ones) that are 75a. I've been thinking about the orangutangs because i see that they are 80a and might be a bit better for speed checking and sliding. I've also considered going with a smaller wheel for easier commuting but I do love the smoothness the large wheel gives. Any advise would be gladly taken.

I'm rockin' O-tang In Heats on my dervish and I love them. They're super grippy and slide when you want them to. Also you should look into some Retro Big Zigs. They are simular to the O-tangs.

Big Zigs come in different duros too. Oranges or even lemons would be easier to slide then the orangatangs because they're a little harder.

I've got the Purple O-tang In Heats on my dervish. The 83a is incredible and tastes like grapes, pop a few on your vanguard and taste the juice.
