Just checking out there, does anyone save gas by commuting on their long board to work? . Blogs from silverfish have people talking about future growth of long boarding even with billabong taking over sector 9. Street stuff vs long board stuff

I longboard to classes, friends' house and maybe a few other places, don't have a job tho.... If it is cooler out, I'll board to more places b/c I don't have to worry about sweating like a pig.

All summer I was up in Maine and rode to work and back every day. I was always excited to have a day off so I could go out and longboard too! Also I ride to my buddies houses sometimes. It is about a 20 min drive, an hour ride. Also a couple of my buddies live in the city so they stricktly use longboards for transportation around the city. Good stuff.

I ride to school every day...a 5 mile ride. I love it. it's something worth going to school for, aha. ride, pop it in the locker, learn, ride.
