Hey guys, I know Portland's not quite on your route, but it's only a short detour by bus. Mt. Tabor is closed to car traffic on Wednesdays and there's usually a group of people riding there - it would be fun if y'all could drop by. www.eastsidelongboards.com/photos/Tabor%20Gallery/FrameSet.htmGood luck with the trip - I dig your videos.

Dan,
Sorry we couldn't make Mt. Tabor. We're behind schedule as is. Brandon from the Orgeonian mentioned you when he stopped by to interview us.
Keep it real.

Hey man, I'm from Wyoming, good thing you're heading East! It's windy as hell, hook up a sail and you won't even have to kick all the way across to Nebraska. You have to stop at Yellowstone Drug store in Shoshoni Wyoming. They have the best malts you'll ever have. When you get there, let me know what you think. Good luck! Kevin Olson

Kevin Olson That sail idea is actually great. I've done it once and it rocks + is fun. Took a bed sheet and sewed it to two sticks, making a V-shape. I would step on the point and hold both sticks up in the wind. Went surprisingly fast. To slow down, I'd bring the two sticks together to deflate the sail. Maybe that's the way to go for those long streches of flatland.

Larry had such a great time with you guys in Utah!
Our boys have always thought their dad was 'the coolest!', and now that he knows how to do the tricks you taught him, he has been elevated to 'SO AWESOME!!'
Shayne, I LOVE the picture of you and Larry in the patio swing.

Fellows,
Just took a few minutes to check out your most recent slide shows. Even though our routes are different, your photos bring back so many of the emotions I experienced on my skateboard treks across America.
You guys are doing something very special, savor every moment...you will never forget this adventure.
All the best, Jack Smith
PS - I'm still trying to figure out a way to come skate with you guys for a couple of days.
